Innovation Strategy Expert and Founder, Crowd Cabin, Former Professor of Innovation at Cranfield School of Management and the Director of the Strategic Innovation is also a founder of Crowd Cabin – a crowd funding platform. Dr. Chris Van Der Hoven joined Cranfield in 2001 after having worked on a broad range of strategic corporate initiatives during a prior industrial career. His PhD at Cambridge University explored the role of innovation and technology leaders when planning or reacting to major contextual or business discontinuities. His interests include: Innovative cultures, product, service and business model innovation, project and portfolio management, R&D – road mapping, crowd sourcing, crowd funding, social media and entrepreneurial start ups.

He is a metallurgist by qualification and a very successful corporate executive with firms like British Oxygen Company and Aditya Birla Group. Prof. Bhattacharya has been teaching various aspects of Marketing and Strategic management at the IIM Kolkata for over 20 years. He got his Masters qualification from the Institution of Metallurgists, London. Thereafter he obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Management Science from Staffordshire University, UK as a topper. He then joined Cranfield Business School, UK from where he obtained his MBA with specialisation in “Entrepreneurship and New Ventures”. He also did a course on “Strategic Thinking and Management” from Wharton Business School, U.S.
|Prof. Sudhir K. Jain
Vice Chancellor, SMVD University and Professor, DMS, IIT DelhiProf. Jain specializes in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Economics and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). He has earlier served as Executive Director, NIESBUD. A pioneer in Entrepreneurship and IPR education, he has run SIDBI Program in Entrepreneurship at IIT Delhi since 1996. He has been a member of several national-level committees of Govt. of India on issues related to entrepreneurship and IPR. Prof. Jain is a Fellow of the ISTD and Chairman of its Delhi Chapter Entrepreneurship. He has published over 100 research papers and has supervised more than 15 Ph.D. theses. He has co-authored the book Managerial Economics with Professors Petersen and Lewis. He obtained M.A. (Economics) from Rajasthan University, Jaipur and Ph.D. from I.I.T. Kanpur and “Strategic Thinking and Management” from Wharton Business School, U.S.A.

Visiting Professor, University of MinnesotaDr. Sigamani P is an Visiting Research Professor under Raman Scholarship in Public Health at the School of Public Health, University of Minnesota, USA,and in India, he is Professor in the area of healthcare management, public policy analysis and human resource management at the Department of Social Work, UGC Centre of Advanced Study, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. His current areas of interest are environment and health, managerial issues in autonomous organizations, Public Private Partnerships (PPP), lean management in healthcare service delivery. His publication includes Innovative Technologies in Access to Essential Medicine, Diagnostics in India: Lessons for Emerging Economies (Bloomsbury), Strategic Public Health Management in India-Emerging Issues and Challenges (Bloomsbury). He is Ph.D in Public Health from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Earlier, he was the Group Controller of Essar Group, Joint President and CFO of Reliance Communications Ltd. He has 34 years of experience in various functional areas, viz., Finance, Accounting and Reporting, Treasury, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Audit, IPO and listing in overseas and domestic stock exchanges, restructuring, FCCB and other overseas loan market transactions; IT enablement with multiple systems development and integration. He is also in the process of patent registration in India and the USA. He has conducted large number of training and development programs for Universities, IIMs, Chambers of Commerce and Corporate Houses. He has presented score of papers, case studies and conducted workshops in national and international level summits, conferences and conventions, as well as participated in many programs of national level electronic media.He holds a Master degree in commerce from the Calcutta University. He was awarded Ph. D. degree on “Transfer Pricing System in a Multi-divisional Environment” by the same University in 1999. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
|Mr. Amit Kaushik
Educationist, Former Civil ServantHe is a retired civil servant with Government of India with rich experience in the areas of infrastructure finance and education. At Ministry of Human Resource Development, he was associated with the development and implementation of policies related to Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, the country’s flagship program for universalising elementary education. Among other things, he worked closely on the 2005 draft of the Right to Education Bill, based on which The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, has recently been passed. He has worked with UNESCO India, and consulted with UNESCO Paris, Nigeria, Iraq and Lebanon, as well as UNICEF Iraq, working with them from time to time on assignments related to literacy, planning for Education for All, non-formal education and accelerated learning. After leaving government, he become CEO for SRF Foundation and set up Shri Educare Ltd. Later he served as Chief Operating Officer of Pratham, India’s largest education NGO, Director Education Strategy for India and SAARC, with Cisco Systems (India) Pvt Ltd and Managing Director for EduComp Infrastructure and School Management. His passion lies in ‘Quality Education for All’.
