Our faculty includes both academic and practice-oriented teachers. Many of our teachers are “Entrepreneurs” and “Procademics” – professionals who have moved into academics. Entrepreneurs and Procademics bring real life experience into classrooms.


Sanjeeva-Shivesh Sanjeeva Shivesh

Business Design and Innovation

Sanjeeva Shivesh is the CEO at TES. He is also a faculty member of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Design Thinking.

He has been a serial entrepreneur with over twenty years of experience in industry and government. He founded Smart Wave Education, Smart Wave Consulting, LMR Connect and Resto’Stay before starting TES.

Prior, he worked with institutions like Indian Railways, Booz & Co, FIRE Capital Fund. He has taught courses in entrepreneurship, innovation and strategy in institutions like MDI, Gurgaon, and FMS, Delhi University. He has authored several case studies in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Sanjeeva proactively mentors entrepreneurs. Some of his protégés have successfully launched their enterprises in the recent years.

He is a B. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and MBA from Cranfield School of Management, U.K.

Masroor-Lodi Masroor Lodi

Entrepreneurial Leadership

Masroor Lodi is a Co-Founder and Director at TES. He leads the Entrepreneurial Leadership practice at TES.

He is a serial entrepreneur with leading or significant partnerships in multiple technology and non-technology start-ups at all stages of their life cycle. Prior, he was the Founder and CEO of IREA Management Consulting (India) and President, T.S. Collaborative (USA).

Earlier, Masroor worked with firms like India Today Group, Unilever and Sanofi, where he was the Country Head for Sales HR. He actively provides new venture consultancy to start-ups.

Masroor has a Masters in HRM from J.M.I, New Delhi, and an award winning MBA in Entrepreneurship from Cranfield School of Management, UK.

Sujay-Sinha Prof. Sujay Sinha

Strategy and Marketing

Prof. Sinha leads the strategy and marketing practice at The Entrepreneurship School. He has close to 20 years of professional experience working with blue-chip firms like Reliance Industries and General Electric, where he led the marketing and sourcing domains. He also worked ATS Services and Buniyaad India, both start-ups.

He moved into academics in 2008 due to his interests in small and medium enterprises. In 2009, Prof. Sinha cofounded VisionX Technologies, a medical services startup and Cha Cha Cha Tea Lounge at Birmingham.

He is a graduate from St. Stephan’s College, Delhi. He holds dual masters degree, one from Delhi University and an MBA from University of Liverpool. Currently he is pursuing his Ph. D at Anglia Ruskin University

Mamta Prof. Mamta Mishra

Entrepreneurship Finance

Ms. Mamta Mishra is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and holds more than 8 years of corporate experience and 3 years of teaching experience. Ms. Mishra has worked in diverse areas of investment research, statutory audit, accounting, tax consultancy and retail banking. During her industry stint, she was associated with companies like Pricewaterhouse Coopers, ICICI Bank, Amba Research and BPCL.

Ms. Mishra’s previous assignment was as a Finance Faculty with IILM Institute, where-in she delivered undergraduate and postgraduate courses at IILM’s New Delhi and Gurgaon campuses. Her teaching expertise lies in the areas of financial accounting, cost accounting, income-tax, financial management and auditing. Ms. Mishra has also conducted MDPs for corporate executives in her domain area. She is UGC NET-qualified and is currently pursuing her PhD at Ansal University, in the area of corporate governance and earnings management.

In March 2014, Ms. Mishra presented her paper on “Corporate Governance in India: Dawn of a New Era” at the International Conference held at Ansal University, Gurgaon. At The Entrepreneurship School, Ms. Mishra teaches and guides budding entrepreneurs to manage their finances, analyse information for effective decision making and gauge the cause and effect of their ideas from a financial perspective.

Ankur-Grover Ankur Grover

TechnoEntrepreneur in Residence

Ankur Grover leads the technology practice at The Entrepreneurship School. A perpetual start-up geek who loves to build small hacks which can transform into interesting ventures, Ankur Grover is a serial entrepreneur with several products and start-ups under his belt. He is the man behind HiCurate, Kar.io, Unnsfactor, E-Planners Technologies and AdvyaTech Solutions.

At TES, he provides TechIncubation to startups. He teaches internet based technologies to students and runs the TES Hackathon.

Ankur is B. Tech from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.

Allen-Shaw Mr. Allen Shaw

Liberal Arts and Design Thinking

Allen Shaw leads the Design Thinking and Innovation practice at TES. He lives in Berlin where he runs a design studio.

He says, “Today after being in the profession for more than eight years I see myself as an artist who practices design for a living. I spend a good part of my time teaching design, traveling, going for bike rides and bird watching”. At TES, he runs practicum-based courses in liberal arts and design thinking.

Allen is an alumnus of St. Stephan’s College, Delhi and graduated in Communication Design with specialization in animation film design from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad

Christian-Leborg Mr. Christian Leborg

Brand Management

Christian Leborg is a visual communicator and branding consultant.

A Norwegian brand development professional, Christian Leborg specializes in building brand strategies, brand identities and visual voices for companies, products and services.

His areas of interests are semiotics and visual language, how values affect identity and the design of companies.

He has authored a book titled “Visual Grammer” and working on another developing Entrepreneur’s Branding Toolkit

Smriti-Chandra Mrs. Smriti Chandra

Entrepreneurial Leadership

Smriti Chandra is the Founder of Passion Learning, a leadership training an d grooming consultancy.

She teaches the Leadership curriculum at The Entrepreneurship School. Smriti is a certified MBTI, NLP and EQ practitioner. Previously, She is worked in IT/ITES, Consulting and KPO industries with firms like McKinsey and Company and Computer Services Corporation.

Smriti holds an MBA degree from IIMM.

Bhaskar Mr. Bhaskar Sarma

New Venture Creation

Bhaskar Sarma is runs the course in New Venture Creation. In addition, he supports several other courses, such as Business Model Design and Strategy.

Prior to TES, Bhaskar has worked as Business Consultant with firms like IL&FS IDC, Feedback Infra and Centre for Environment and Planning (CEPT).

A strong leader and project manager, he has proven track record of successfully implementing large infrastructure projects supported by UN and World Bank.

Bhaskar is B.Tech from NIT, Silchar, Masters in Planning from CEPT and MBA from EM Lyon (France) and Cranfield School of Management (UK)

Manoj-Tayal Cdr. Manoj Tayal (Retd.)

Project Management and Technology Ventures

Cdr. Manoj Tayal (Retd.) specializes in high technology entrepreneurship, project management and operational excellence. He is a passionate teacher and believes in quality education. He has served in the Indian Navy for 28 years where he held appointments in fields of armament technology, ships, wargaming and simulation, warfare electronics and communication, navaids, radars and weapons. Later, he was Executive Director and COO of Smart Wave, where he led design and delivery of corporate education.

At TES, he handholds technology entrepreneurs in their journey from idea to launch. Cdr. Tayal is B. Tech (Electrical), M. Tech (Electronics and Communication) and MBA (Finance) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Sciences, Mumbai University.
